Kill the King~Age Range: Any
Each team elects a King (or Queen). Everyone else is a guard. The object of the game is to kill the enemy King while defending your own King. The King can fight as usual, but to do so is risky, of course!

Variant: Rebellion! Here only one team has a King; the other team should have worse weapons (maybe no shields, or fewer shields), and their aim is to kill the King. The King’s team have to kill all the rebels to win. If the rebels win, one of them gets to be the new King next game.

Variant: The Magic Dagger. In this version, there is a magic dagger (small-size Battling broadsword of a distinctive colour) that can instantly “kill” either King, as soon as it touches them, even if it just touches an arm or leg (including if they pick it up themselves). You can only take the magic dagger from an enemy who’s holding it if they have 0 hit points (at which point they have to let go of it anyway).

Variant: The Magic Dagger II. This works as per the Magic Dagger variant (above), except that here the magic dagger is the ONLY way to kill a King. In this case, the Kings should either be unarmed, or should only have a dagger (or perhaps dagger and shield), themselves.
